As one of the UN’s largest and most intricate subsidiary bodies, ECOSOC plays a vital role in shaping global partnerships and actively encourages young people to contribute their perspectives and ideas. Crisis Committees at GEMSMUN are among the most demanding and high-intensity committees. They operate under unique procedures, with topics evolving rapidly throughout the conference. Delegates will encounter continuous interventions from the secretariat and must remain adaptable to the committee’s dynamic nature. These committees are interconnected, with actions in one influencing the developments in others.
